Reception of Membership
There are special moments in a person’s life that are non-sacramental according to our denomination. These moments are special and transformative.
When you choose to become a member of First UMC, you can be
received in different
ways.
These can be
through transfer from another United Methodist Church or by reception from a non-United
Methodist Church. If
you have not been baptized, you would be received into membership after being baptized.
